ADMISSIONS

Enrollment information

NOTE: As of now, we are accepting interest applications for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year.  No application fees will be due until we get closer to that year.  At that time, we will notify all parents as to next steps.
Filling out an application of interest will pre-enroll your child as well as place you on any mailing or email lists for status updates.

We are excited to offer the opportunity to enroll your child in one of our schools.  You can enroll any time.  However, students who enrollment midyear might be more difficult to place as classes are already established and teachers already assigned.  For this reason, parents are encouraged to enroll prior to the start of a new school year.

AGE/APPLICATION

In order to enroll in any Parallel Hope school, your child must be at least 5 years old before September 1 of the current school.  If your child is, or will be, five or older, please complete the online application to begin the admission process.

MEETING

As part of the admission process, every family will attend a meeting with the school’s administration.  On scheduled instruction days, a classroom visit may be arranged.  On non-instruction days, administration will endeavor to have the child’s potential teacher present.

TESTING

As Parallel Hope schools do not follow traditional age=class placement, another part of the admission process is placement testing.  This testing is designed to be a best estimate of a child’s current academic knowledge and is not an indicator of a child’s intelligence.  In addition, as an estimate it is possible for a child’s original placement to be adjusted in order to best meet the needs of each child.

There is an application fee for all applicants of $50.  This fee is designed to cover the cost of the testing.
